Ajay holds a Bachelor of Technology degree from IIT Kanpur and an MBA from IIM, Ahmedabad. Ajay has over 30 years of executive management experience spanning 25 different industries. As the President of Tecnova India, Ajay has served many leading Multinationals on a broad variety of topics related to strategy, incubation, operations and organization. At Tecnova, Ajay has provided continued leadership to highly talented teams of engineers and professionals from diverse backgrounds. Amongst his key contributions to the organization, include acquisition of more than 150 foreign clients from Europe and USA, managing global key accounts for India market entry strategy implementation and head hunting for the top management.
Ajay has been very active in the start up space, having comprehensively set up and managed more than 100 successful start-ups in South Asia over the last 25 years. More recently, Ajay has been involved in incubating multiple start-ups. In the past 23 years Ajay has handled over 350 Multinational clients and gained valuable insights into a whole bouquet of segments like Engineering, Agro, Food Processing, Consumer products, Pharmaceutical/Healthcare, Mining/Mineral Processing, Technology, Electrical and Electronic, Specialty Chemicals, Energy sector besides Private Equity.
From 1996-2001, as a Managing Partner of Boyden Executive Search New Delhi franchise partner of Tecnova India, Ajay was responsible for the head hunting for 30 CEOs/Vice Presidents for Indian operations of foreign companies in India
During 1985-87, Ajay served as an Industrial Expert and Advisor to the Minister of Trade, Industry and Power, Government of Bhutan. As the Industrial Expert he was key coordinator for selection of technology partners and helped in implementation besides sitting on the board of directors/advisory of several public-private joint ventures funded by international funding agencies like UNDP, UNIDO, ADB and World Bank.
During his first 5 working years, Ajay worked at Larsen & Toubro and MetalBox India where he helped the company to establishing the Roland offset printing business in India with technology transfer from Germany besides business development and sales of packaging turnkey solutions,
He has delivered guest lectures at many global and Indian conferences and mentored many young professionals in India and USA.

Alok Verma has been serving as a Partner and Vice-President of Tecnova India. After completing his B. Tech in Mechanical Engineering from IIT, Delhi, Alok pursued MBA (Strategy, Finance and Operations) from IIM, Bangalore.
Alok started his career with Maruti Suzuki and now has over 18 years of experience. He has significant experience in the consulting space having worked for Price Waterhouse in India and Deloitte Consulting Americas (1998-2005). He led several transformational consulting assignments across different domains and has extensive international experience having worked in different client geographies like US, Europe and APAC.
Prior to joining Tecnova, he was Senior Vice President - Strategy and Business Development with WNS Research and Analytics/ Consulting practice instrumental in growing various industry verticals. Alok also worked with Genpact in the position of Vice-President - Business Development and a key player in influencing its "Go to Market Strategy".

Ashit Ranjan currently serves as the Vice-President Human Resources at Tecnova. In the previous assignment, Ashit headed an entrepreneurial venture in the area of Business, HR Consulting and Training & Development. Prior to this, he worked with EXL, a BPO company, as Assistant Vice-President and headed the HR function for a large UK-based insurance client with over 1200 multi-location team members and a broad spectrum of processes.
Ashit has also been involved in numerous consulting assignments including support to Bhutan Power Corporatization Program, Thimphu, Bhutan as part of ADB assisted program. He has also worked on other consulting projects on restructuring, transition, organizational change management with both Government agencies (Development Aid funded) and private companies in India, Bangladesh and Bhutan.
Ashit has also worked with various IT, ITES, Telecom and Manufacturing companies in India and the USA.

Karan Singal has currently been serving as an Associate Vice President – M&A of Tecnova India. Prior to joining Tecnova, he was working with PricewaterhouseCoopers.

Ravi Avalur currently serves as Partner and Vice President of Tecnova. He heads the Automotive Practice and is also responsible for all Business Development and Client Acquisition for the company in the Asia Pacific region. He has experience across multiple industry sectors including Consumer and Retail, Healthcare, Infrastructure, Renewable Energy and Industrial B2B.
Ravi has substantial international experience having worked in Asia and Europe, with extensive CEO level interaction. At A.T. Kearney, he planned and executed multiple consulting engagements, including M&A, Market Entry Strategies and Joint Venture Transactions. Prior to this, he had worked for Nokia in a senior capacity at their Asia Pacific headquarters developing and executing Go To Market strategies. At Riello SpA (Italy) he expanded the company’s presence across the Asia Pacific region including India.
He gained an MBA degree from INSEAD, where he was granted the Asian Enterprise scholarship on the basis of his business and academic achievements. He has also completed an Executive Education program at SDA Bocconi, Milan. He graduated with a BA in Political Science from St Xavier’s College, Mumbai and is an alumnus of one of India’s preeminent academic institutions, The Lawrence School, Sanawar.
