1984 |
: |
TECNOVA India started operations in New Delhi as an affiliate of TECNOVA SA, France, at a time when business consultancy was little known in India. Also, many large Indian companies were gearing up to compete globally through their search for innovative technology and know-how. The establishment of TECNOVA seemed befitting at that time. |
| |
For the next 7 years or so, TECNOVA organized a large number of technology transfers from a large number of foreign companies into India. TECNOVA’s services involved identification of technology, definition of distinct technology and know how packages, drafting of agreements, obtaining government approvals and implementation. The main sectors covered were metallurgy, healthcare & textiles. |
1987 |

TECNOVA SA decided to close operations. TECNOVA INDIA bought out the name of TECNOVA SA and worldwide rights. |
